HOW TO : Add Twitter Cards on Your Website


1. Visit the Twitter Card Validator page by visiting the link given below to create the Twitter card of your choice.

2. Now select the type of card, you would like to create for your website. Here I am select the Summary Card as an example.

3. Once the type of card is selected, fill the required information for the Twitter Card as shown in the below image. If you want, you can also fill the details for the Mobile App Integration.

4. Once all required information are filled, click on the "Update Preview" button. You will be able to see how your Twitter Card will appear on the right side of the page. If you want to make any changes then, edit the text fields and check the preview again.

5. Once you are satisfied with the Twitter Card preview, copy the code given below the preview and paste it into the Head section of your website template.

6. Now, go back to the Twitter Card Validator page and click on the "Validate URLs" tab. Now, type the website domain for which you are creating Twitter Card and press the Enter key.

7. It will show a message that "Your URL is not approved". Click on the "Request Approval" button.

8. Now, a popup window will appear. Fill all the required information in it and click on the "Register Domain" button.

Now, your request of the integration of Twitter Card on your website will be reviewed and you will receive an email from the Twitter team once it is done.
