The design of ASUS WL-330NUL Pocket Router is minimalistic and even a technology challenged person will come to understand easily what options he got with this device. At one end, there is a port to connect the router to the RJ-45 Ethernet and on another end there is a USB connector to connector the router to your laptop, desktop etc.

ASUS WL-330NUL Pocket Router can be charged by using the USB power charger which comes bundled with it. You can also charge it by connecting it to the USB port of your laptop, desktop or an external power bank.

Features

ASUS WL-330NUL Pocket Router is having lots of task when it comes to connectivity. First of all, you can use it as an USB Ethernet adaptor for the devices in which there is no LAN port like the Apple MacBook Air or some other notebooks.

As a wireless router, ASUS WL-330NUL Pocket Router works pretty fine. But since it is an absolute zero configuration device, you will not be able to use it as the wireless router for the username or password based connections like PPPoA or PPPoE.

If you are not having a desktop with wireless capabilities then, you can use the ASUS WL-330NUL Pocket Router as a Wireless Adaptor to connect your desktop to the wireless.

You can also use it as the WiFi Hotspot just like your Android smartphone or iPhone to share the Internet with your friend and family quickly and easily.

Performance

The first thing people worry about a wireless router is the range of the device. ASUS WL-330NUL Pocket Router performs really well according to its size. You can easily get a stable WiFi connection from it in the area of ten square meter.

Also, ASUS WL-330NUL Pocket Router is not just a wireless router. It gives you the power to manage several network users at once, with different access privileges to control the sharing. You can configure it for the Private User and Guest User and change the settings according to your wish.

It is compatible with both Windows and Mac OS. You can start using it instantly by connecting it to your device, without wasting time in long setups.

Drawback

It is not a drawback but a missing feature actually. ASUS WL-330NUL Pocket Router is not having a SIM slot otherwise you would be able to use it anywhere for accessing the Internet via a mobile network and share your 2G/3G/4G Internet connection as a MiFi router.

Conclusion

ASUS WL-330NUL Pocket Router is a great device at a very reasonable price. It delivers exactly what it claims about. If you travel a lot and want to stay connected to the Internet then, it is a must have device for you.
